Job Position: Finance & Operations Manager
Reports to: Founder and COO
The Role
We're looking for an experienced Finance and Operations Manager to join our growing business. Working closely with the Founder and COO, you'll lead the financial and operational management of the business, helping us deliver exceptional projects in the UK, US, and globally. This is a hands-on role, covering everything from Finance and Operations to Logistics and compliance-keeping our business running smoothly while supporting our world-class team.
ROLE ACCOUNTABILITIES:
● Oversee financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
● Manage invoices, process payments and ensure financial transactions are handled efficiently and timely.
● Assist with submitting VAT returns in collaboration with the company accountant (based remotely).
● Handle payroll processing and consultant payments, ensuring all are paid accurately and on time.
● Work closely with the company accountant to maintain accurate financial records.
● Be proactive to recommend process changes, to improve the finance function at the company
● Prepare and review monthly management accounts, providing analysis against budget and KPIs.
● Own financial systems and reporting tools, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
● Develop and maintain financial systems and reporting tools to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
● Oversee the management of customs and duties compliance.
● Manage the monthly sell-through analysis and sales reporting for all stores.
● Supervise production shipments and monitor incoming stock levels.
● Collaborate closely with the Founder and COO to manage the order process and forecast incoming orders effectively.
Requirements
● A minimum of two years of experience in a bookkeeping position
● Strong knowledge of bookkeeping and financial processes
● Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
● Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
● Ability to work independently and manage multiple financial tasks efficiently.
● Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
