Born and raised in England, Annie Doble’s love of fashion began early. At just six years old, she was already designing her first collection. By 15, she had her own vintage stall at Spitalfields Market, having started buying and selling clothes on eBay. Soon after, she found herself working at London and New York Fashion Weeks before securing an internship in the buying department at Calvin Klein in New York City.
Upon returning to London, Annie continued to work in fashion and pursue her passion for buying and selling clothes. Then, in her late teens, she discovered Ibiza. Falling in love with the island, she decided to make it home and, with just €200 to her name, acquired a small store in Ibiza Town.
In the summer of 2018, Annie opened her flagship within the ancient walls of Dalt Vila. It quickly became known for its eclectic mix of vintage, emerging designers and hard-to-find pieces — a reflection of Annie’s own approach to fashion. Rather than following trends or seasons, she has always treated the store as an extension of her wardrobe, bringing together the things she loves and the pieces she feels are worth discovering.
The original Ibiza store remains at the heart of the brand. Today, Annie’s Ibiza has grown to three locations, with stores on Carnaby Street in London and Mercer Street in New York joining the original Ibiza flagship. Each has its own character, but the spirit remains the same: a place to discover something unexpected, individual and unforgettable.
Annie’s Collection
Annie’s own collections have grown naturally from more than 15 years of collecting vintage and working with clothes. A collector by nature, she has spent years travelling in search of rare pieces with a story to tell, building an ever-growing archive of silhouettes, fabrics, embellishments and techniques.
Her archive is a constant source of inspiration. Victorian silhouettes, Ottoman embroidery, 1950s stage costumes and forgotten details from vintage garments all find their way into her collections. A sleeve, a stitch, an unusual cut or a particular embellishment can become the starting point for something entirely new. Some pieces make an immediate impression; others reveal themselves slowly through an exceptional fabric or a tiny piece of handwork.
Rather than recreating the past, Annie takes these details and gives them a new life. Her recent collections, presented at London Fashion Week, bring these references into a contemporary wardrobe, creating pieces that feel rooted in the past but entirely of the present.
Hand stitching, glass beadwork and delicate metal embellishment are central to the designs, with many pieces made by hand in the UK. An enormous amount of time and care goes into even the smallest details. The collections are produced in limited quantities, with many pieces entirely one of a kind.
For Annie, these are not clothes made for a single season. They are pieces intended to be treasured, worn and lived in for years — becoming part of a wardrobe and gathering memories along the way. It is this relationship between old and new that has become so characteristic of Annie’s Ibiza.
Craft & Sustainability
Annie has always been conscious of the impact of producing clothes simply for the sake of producing more clothes. For her, fashion should be about quality, creativity and longevity rather than constant consumption. The collections are therefore made in limited runs, allowing greater care and attention to be given to each garment.
Wherever possible, Annie rescues deadstock fabrics that might otherwise go to waste, giving them a new life within her collections. Recycled beads, natural fibres and other considered materials are also used, alongside newer innovations such as seaweed textiles and cactus leather. She is curious about new ways of making clothes more responsibly, while never compromising on the beauty, character or craftsmanship that sit at the heart of her designs.
For Annie, sustainability is ultimately about longevity. A beautiful garment that is worn for years, repaired when needed, treasured and eventually passed on has a very different life from something made to be worn briefly and discarded. Vintage is perhaps the clearest expression of this philosophy. Some of the most special pieces in Annie’s own wardrobe are decades old; they have gathered stories, memories and character over time, and are still being worn today.
This appreciation for individuality and craftsmanship also extends to the designers Annie champions. Collaboration has always been an important part of Annie’s Ibiza.
Over the years, she has worked with designers including Conner Ives, Clio Peppiatt, Richard Quinn and Silvia Astore, creating exclusive pieces for the stores. These collaborations bring together different creative perspectives and allow Annie to support emerging and established talent while creating something that feels unique to Ibiza.

For Annie, her love of Ibiza has always been about so much more than clothes. Since she first arrived on the island, its landscape, wild beauty and connection to the sea have become an important part of her life. It has naturally shaped the way she thinks about fashion and the way she works. Annie is an ambassador for Project Zero, supporting its work to protect our oceans and coral reefs. Her approach is simple: buy less, choose carefully, look after what you have and keep the things you love.
She believes beautiful clothes should have a life far beyond a single season. Exceptional craftsmanship, timeless design and quality fabrics allow her pieces to be worn, loved and passed through generations. For Annie, a garment becoming a cherished heirloom is the ultimate expression of sustainable fashion. Her commitment to nature also extends to her partnership with the Bumblebee Conservation Trust, supporting its work to protect bumblebees and their habitats.
When selecting the brands she stocks, Annie looks for the same sense of care and purpose. The majority of garments are handmade in the UK, fabrics are ethically sourced wherever possible, and she actively seeks out brands with a smaller environmental footprint. She is equally passionate about supporting young designers and independent brands whose creativity and values she believes in.
For Annie, sustainability is ultimately about making thoughtful choices valuing craftsmanship, caring for what we own, and supporting the people and planet behind what we wear.
